DEMOCRACY DAY MESSAGE

As we celebrate Democracy Day, we salute all our heroes and heroines who have contributed immensely to the growth and sustenance of democracy in Nigeria, particularly members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), whose dedication to truth, press freedom, and public enlightenment continues to strengthen our democratic institutions.

May all journalists and media professionals be blessed with greater success, protection, good health, and prosperity. May their sacrifices and commitment to the public good never go unrewarded, and may Nigeria continue to experience peace, justice, unity, and sustainable development.

Happy Democracy Day to all Nigerians.

Comrade Mustafa Abubakar

Former Vice Chairman, Kwara State Council, Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ).
